Pased with minimum of 50% marks in agregate* or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward clas categories and Persons with Disabilty belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degre awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be demed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum thre years duration in any discipline recognised by the Asociation of Indian Universities, or poses an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.
The candidates who have pased Bachelor of Computer Aplication (BCA), Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS), Bachelor of Science (Computer/Information Technology) degre courses are not required to fulfil the requirement of having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination.

Allotment of seats for Home University seats and State level seats for other university candidates coming under CAP is caried out as per the logic explained in the rule 6.1.3. Stage-I and Stage-I shall be used for CAP Round –I. Stage-I, Stage-I, Stage-II, Stage-IV, Stage-V Stage-VI and Stage-VI shall be used for CAP Round-I.
Seats wil be aloted to candidates as per their inter se merit, as per the options filed in the online option form and the number of seats available at that point of time in the stage of CAP Round-I and CAP Round- I.

The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed HSC (STD XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathamatics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocation subject
And
Secure minimum 50% markes (minimum 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects of Physics, Mathamatics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocation subjects added together.
And
Obtained a positive Composite score i.e. marks obtained after adding 50% of JEE Main Paper I marks and 50% of normalized standard XII makes in Physics, Mathamatics and Chemistry.

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/Technology courses are required to appear for JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The Competent Authority for Admissions in the state of Maharashtra shall conduct total Four (4) rounds of Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The CAP shall consist of first three (3) rounds of Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates of respective rounds (both Maharashtra and All India) will fill & confirm fresh Online Option forms through their login for respective rounds. The Maharashtra Candidate eligible for All India Seats is required to submit only single option form for both Maharashtra and All India Seats. Fourth round of CAP shall be conducted by counseling, only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.
