Pased with minimum of 50% marks in agregate or equivalent CGPA ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be demed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum thre years duration in any discipline recognised by the Asociation of Indian Universities, or poses an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. (Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET)

The Competent Authority shall conduct total thre (3) rounds of Centralized Admision. The CAP shall consist of first two (2) rounds by Centralized Alotment wherein eligible candidates wil fil separate Online Option forms for respective rounds. Third round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.
Allotment of seats for Home University seats and State level seats for other university candidates coming under CAP is caried out as per the logic explained in the rule 6.1.3. Stage-I and Stage-I shall be used for CAP Round –I. Stage-I, Stage-I, Stage-II, Stage-IV, Stage-V, Stage-VI and Stage-VI shall be used for CAP Round I

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/Technology courses are required to appear for JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The Competent Authority for Admissions in the state of Maharashtra shall conduct total Four (4) rounds of Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The CAP shall consist of first three (3) rounds of Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates of respective rounds (both Maharashtra and All India) will fill & confirm fresh Online Option forms through their login for respective rounds. The Maharashtra Candidate eligible for All India Seats is required to submit only single option form for both Maharashtra and All India Seats. Fourth round of CAP shall be conducted by counseling, only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.

For Maharashtra State Board Candidates: -
Candidates who have passed Maths/Mathematics (Code 71 for Maharashtra State Board candidates) and Science & Technology (Code 72 for Maharashtra State Board candidates) are only eligible for admission
For ICSE Candidates-
Student seeking admission on the basis of Group 1 & Group 2 subjects only, the aggregate marks shall be the grand total of marks in any of the 5 subjects from Group 1 & Group 2 where he/she has scored maximum marks.
Student seeking admission on the basis of Group 1, Group 2 & Group 3, aggregate marks shall be the grand total of all subjects from all groups.
For CBSE Candidates-
The aggregate mark means the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate, including all subjects as declared on Mark sheet.
For CBSE/ICSE Candidates: -
In case the result of the candidate is given grades, such Candidates are required to submit the result in grade as converted to equivalent marks authorised from the concerned institute /Board
